Madison Square Garden, "The World's Most Famous Arena", has been the stage for some of basketball's most iconic moments and the crown jewel of New York City. It's a magical place where children can come to see their heroes fly through the air and battle for hardwood supremacy. As a lifelong Knicks fan I have seen my fair share of these historic moments, many of which have come at the misfortune of my Knicks, but this year is different! The Knicks have an energy about them this year that is different from the teams of late. We are sitting at the 7th seed in the East, competing against the top teams in the NBA, and a lot of that has to do with our new PG, Jalen Brunson.

Last night, the Knicks engaged in a fierce battle against the Milwaukee Bucks, with Jalen Brunson leading the charge for the orange and blue. Brunson grew up in the stands of MSG, so he knows when the fans get on their feet, the energy becomes palpable, and a performance is what they expect. And what a performance it was! 44 points, a career high, displaying the full range of his offensive game. Shooting with precision, attacking the rim with ferocity, hitting clutch shots and leading the team in scoring.
But the Bucks were not to be underestimated, they were a formidable opponent and fought back with the tenacity of a lion on the back of their 2x MVP, Giannis . In the end, the Bucks emerged victorious, but it was the incredible effort and valiant display of the Knicks that will be remembered. Brunson's scoring effort was not in vain, it was a statement to the faithful Knicks fans and the entire NBA world, he is a true warrior, and a strong candidate for the upcoming All-Star game.
It's on the fans to vote for our players, Julius Randle too, to get into the All-Star game. They have put their heart and souls on the court this year and deserve to be recognized for it. If you haven't done so yet, head to NBA.com or the NBA App and get our guys to Salt Lake!
